Boxercise classes for Schools and Duke of Edinburgh Award
Boxercise for Kids Classes
Boxercise for Kids is an excellent way for children to stay active. It adds variety to their usual sports activity. The benefits are as follows:
Focus: concentration is required and it can be physically demanding. Physically active children tend to concentrate better when facing challenges.
Physical development: mobility, balance, hand/eye coordination and general fitness.
Confidence and Social Development: Children will be training in teams or in pairs. This helps to develop confidence as well as their social and interactive skills.
I offer boxercise for kids classes for children from Key Stage 1 up to Key Stage 5. I have also worked privately with children living with Autism. I prefer to work with a school directly. The school then offers Boxercise for Kids as an extra-curricular activity.
I run regular lunchtime and after-school clubs as well as running PE Sessions. I also work with schools on a one-off basis if there are special sporting and well-being weeks which gives the children the opportunity to try different kinds of activities.

Duke of Edinburgh Award
DofE recognises Boxercise as a Physical Activity for its awards and I have worked with several students independently who have chosen to do Boxercise.
This can be completed with with private sessions or with the student attending Boxercise Classes. I complete all the necessary paperwork and assessment forms.
Please use the contact form, give me a call or drop me an email if your child is interested so that we can discuss this in more detail.
